There are pros and cons to consider when buying monogrammed door mats. Some may say that monogramming is corny, albeit anachronistic and tell you that monogramming is what people did in the 1950s. Others will explain that monogrammed door mats are dangerous because they advertise your name to any unsavory character that may be considering visiting your home when you’re not there. On the other side of the coin, with monogramming visitors do in fact feel welcomed and that is important.
